ok if you breck down the what a virgin is basicly you have
not had your penis in a vagina but when you are born this
is were you exit from so there for your penis has been in
a vagina so it must follow you are not a virgin.
on the other hand all the sexual intercourse descriptions
are all to do with sex between a man and a woman so
gay and lesbian sex not counted so all gays and lesbians
are virgins as long as the dont have sex with the other gender
but as stated earlyer men are not virgins so only the lesbians
will be virgins
;)
so a lebian cant get rid of her cherry
a man loses his cherry as soon as hes born
oh by the way if the doc has had to cut open the wome
to deliver the baby he may still be a virgin

what about test-tube chilluns? and if i'm not mistaken, the loss of virginity, in the raw physical form, just requires penetration of some kind on the male part and to break through the hymen for a female. technically, if a girl breaks her hymen in some sorta accident when she's young, she would then cease ta be a virgin. of course, the rapid change in definition and intent of words within the English language to accomodate an even more rapidly changing society and conditions of said society keeps all this interpretive, and likely always will. *sniffs deeply of the air* i love the smell of unnecessary grammarical confusion. how is it that the Eskimoes can have 483 words for 'polar bear' and smoothly pull it off, but we English-manglers have it configured so that 'read' and 'read' are two different fuckin words? *headshake*

so does that mean that if you broke your hymen by some other means you cease to be a virgin or you still stay a virgin?......I thought the Inuit (im apologising now if I have spelt wrong and cause offence to anyone) 483 words were for snow....ouch, my head hurts now

Inuit, Eskimo... pfft, same difference. *shrug* just makin a point.
it means that technically, if the hymen's gone, yer deflowered like a prom queen.

So if you lose it through some other means than sex you can be taken to be deflowered?
I may be wrong but Im sure that it still hurts like hell the first time whether you've got that hymen or not

i really couldn't say, but i don't discount it. and yes, technically speakin, once the hymen is broken by any means, you cease ta be a virgin. technically. *points to last typed word for added emphasis*

Ah, but you must remember that the original (and still technically correct) definition of "virgin" was NOT someone who has never had sex. It's someone who has never been married.

i'm still a virgin by all of the definaitons, so HA!
I think were all being a bit literlal here. Its not necissarily the exact definition in the dictionary that counts its the spirit of the definition so no guys dont lose their virginity when they are born and no women dont lose thiers if the hymen breaks from any other activity.
Makin' Sweet Lurv is the only way to go...

I really hope not. At least not until somebody can tell me the desirable aspects of virginity:(. My own never imbued anything positive in me:redghost:. I was thrilled to get rid of it:D. I don’t want to be with a virgin for any reason I can think of:confused:. Hell, ….. I’m looking for partners that can show me new tricks, not somebody I have to teach;) :p :yellghst:.
It seems virginity is like a Barbie or G.I. Joe doll still in the box. Something that never realizes it’s sole purpose and only of value to someone that neither understands or experiences existences:confused: :whiteghos.
WHO SAID ALL THAT?

No PantyFanatic there are religious reasons for keeping virginity as well. Also waiting for marriage to lose it has a psychological effect that is nice. I mean how would you feel if, when you were a kid, you got a G.I. Joe for Christmas and it has already been opened and played with?

Sorry Thinker, Im with PF here, yep I agree that for some it is the right thing to wait until the right partner.....but for me the experience was unpleasant and yes while I regret my choice of partner, I don't regret losing my virginity, it was like an unwelcome house guest, I was so glad to lose it...I could then get on with my life.

Well Some people are willing to settle for the "hand me down" Barbie/G.I. Joe for Christmas. It is true I guess that for people, espically people who are virgins at and older age, that they would become preoccupied with losing thier virginity, but there is no reason to fret, for wether your a virgin or not, doesn't matter in the end (except from a religious perspective). So from my point a view there is no reason to rush sex, because from a biological perspective when you die it doesn't matter if you had sex before you got married before or after you were married as long as you had children somewhere inbetween. Anyway I am not sure how well I got my point across, but to sum it up: From a biological point of view it doesn't matter if you have sex now or after you get married as long as you have kids before the end.

Ok, here we go. Virginty has no "sole purpose" as you say. And it is true that a virgin is like a G.I Joe, or Barbie that has not yet been removed from the box. But like that G.I Joe, or the Barbie that is still in the box, it's value goes up with time. While the other dolls dirtied and spent are eventually forgotten and/or discarded by its owner. The diffrence between the two path is the type and length of apprecation. While a Doll still in the box in the beginning is apprecated less in the beginning, in the end the apprecation rasies and in the end is much higher than that of the used doll. And when the unused doll is finally given to somone for its original purpose it is apprecated much more than it would have been if it had been used for that purpose in the beginning. (It should be apprent that I am using doll as a metaphor here) And for the last part about "understanding or experiences existences" Inexperience is no excuse for ignorence.
