sex in a bath

assuming that you wear a condom and she's not on the pill, how likely is it that you could get pregnant if you had sex in a bath? Is there any difference between this and a shower? would it be better to wait until she's on the pill?

interesting question. firstly there are slightly diferent concerns in the H2O in regards to lubrication. you will most likely need more slimy stuff but remember that you cant use oil based ones due to their tendency to weaken the sheath. as you are in water and most lubes are waterbased they will breakdown more readily.
the chances of sperm making the trip through the water to their end goal. so its doubtful that pregnancy is any more likely due to being in the tub.

I have heard already several times that the sperm is not able to survive very much time in different environments like water or air. I THINK the risk is not higher than sex in bed, except the risk of loosing the condom / handling probs. (Besides that I think a normal bathing tub is an interesting but not a very comfortable place :D)

If you are at a position in life where this of great concern and you are worried about the risk (worried sex is usually not any fun) there are plenty of other things you can do to each other in the bath, then hop out put her on the towel on the floor, slip on the ole glove and have a little hot passion there....

I've recently found out that having sex in the bath is dangerous for the woman. The water being forced inside her can cause endometriosis. This according to a female Dr. I know, so becareful,as far as getting pregnant, I'd think it's about the same chance as any other encounter.

I think I heard the same news story sassy 13 did, and that the issue of endometriosis from water forced inside her applies to immersion in any water. Shower sex was recommended as safer, from that perspective.
