You know, all great people have crests and mottos to show off their talents and importance.

Well, we Pixie folks are, of course, among the greatest ... so I figure we ought to each come up with a motto of our own. Doesn't have to be in Latin, but, just to get things going, I'll start with:

Semper Durus, Semper Prolixus (Always Hard, Always Obliging)

...

Whoo-ium; Hoo-ius! :D :D

ROFL Dicksbro - "whoo-ium; Hoo-ius" you are so funny!

Ok, here's a good motto .... "You take care of the quality and I'll make sure of the quantity!" lol

I like that, jaida! Good one!

I agree with the words of Warren Beatty: Everybody being not yet married has not yet committed any fatal error.

My importance on that ? Telling it to everybody who wants to hear it (and all the others also. :D)

Can I give my serious answer to this one .... I made a decision about 15+ years ago on what I wanted to be known for in my life .... I want to become the most loving, giving, caring person I can become. It is a life long goal of mine and has brought me to be a person I never thought I could become in a million lifetimes.... I have joy because of it.

thanks dicksbro for the chance to remind myself of what I feel is most important! jjjjbo

the love of someones life...

actually I think someone out there may think I was... but alas we lost eachother in this big world..

I just hope that someone else might consider me to be in this lifetime.

not sure if i can get away with it, but i always liked the tag-line for SuperGrover, because it implied sooo much...

" And I'm cute, too!"

If I leave a mark on this world it won't be through children.....I have none now and can never have any later! So........my motto.........oh geeeeeeeeeze.......thinking hard here!

If I take a "moment" of your life, I have a reason for being there. We meet people in our journey on the path of life for a reason. You just have to find the reason for my being in your life. Just know........I don't stay around forever unless you are a forever part of my being here!

*Deep.........huh?*

I can honestly say, I've looked through all the 4823 picture books in the libary and there are no ladies as sexy as you pixie gals! And, being a public place, I just can't open up all those beautiful pictures posted here. RATS! :(

Can't think of a quote right now, but I learned firsthand how short life can be. I think you should always smile and keep a good sense of humor.
After I had surgery to repair my spine from a car accident, I was cracking jokes in the special care unit. I asked for a drink of water and the nurses asked me, "are you sure you want water? We have apple juice, grape juice, orange juice, or ginger ale also." Without skipping a beat, I looked straight at them and asked, "may I see your wine list?"

I am still surprised I did not get put in the mental health ward.

From R.A.H. "Time Enough for Love"

"There is no limit to how much one can love, or how many. I think a person, given enough time, could love all who are decent and just."

And I think all of us here at Pixies are both decent and just.

If the people we love are stolen from us the way to have them live on is to never stop loving them. Buildings burn people die but love, true love is forever.

Fantasy is my favorite playground, but reality is where I play out my fantasies one touch at a time. (I once said that to someone, and I've been asked to repeat it many times over the years)

Other than that ... I often say "Smile for me" to those I love. I'd want to be remembered for that and for the many times it worked when there was nothing more to smile about.

as a man who cared and genuinely gives a shit, sometimes to his own detriment.. a man who truly enjoys making others happy when circumstance permits, and who always does his best to be there for his friends, and oh god.. there's just so many things I want to be remembered for. Ultimately, I guess my biggest fear is that of being forgotten.

My quote is " What doesn't kill me only makes me stronger."
I have learned that one in 25 yrs. It is something that I live by. I was not one of the most popular people in school and i too a lot of BS from people. What I learned was that you get stronger.

The other one is "You have to stand for something or you will fall for anything." That is a Aaron Tippin song...There must be something that you stand for in this life....People will try to get you to fall for anything they throw at you...So stand tall and stand for what you believe in....No one else can do it for you...

I am a part of all that I have met;
Yet all experience is an arch wherethro'
Gleams that untravell'd world whose margin fades
For ever and for ever when I move.
How dull it is to pause, to make an end,
To rust unburnish'd, not to shine in use!
As tho' to breathe were life!
