I do not claim being an artist, but from time to time I have the strong wish to draw or make music or paint.

I would like to ask you, if you have a piece of art you want to share, post it here. Everything is welcome.

I have prepared two (almost the only ones) drawings for you. The first one is rather new and is drawn by using wax chalk. An image that breeded long time in my head.

The second one is not really art because it was done by a special copying technique. You know that, putting a raster over the original and drawing with the same raster on the paper.
But because I really love the result I will post it anyway. It was done perhaps 20 years ago now (OMG, that long already?!!). It was one of two titlegirls of a school magazine that was really my taste that time (still like it). It is a Pencil drawing.

Well, I don't draw or paint, but you did say everything artistic is acceptable, right?

My artistic outlet is crochet, knitting, sewing, and quilting. And quilting is considered a fabric art so...........

Here's a pic of a wallhanging I made in a quilting class I took.
It's just the top, and hasn't been assembled and quilted yet...

Great work you two!! Steve, I really like the first one. Almost looks like an extended exposure of an exlosion. Well done.

TY all!

Legend, if I have something interesting, IŽll add it.

Xanne: try it, hun, it is fun! ;)

Sugarsprinkles, you are right, everything is welcome. Hell, this must have been a lot of work... great thing!

Ryder, TY. I am also happy about the result. Only a pity that the scanner is not big enough for the entire pic. I had to cut a part. And I found out that I scanned it upside down. (But I think it doesnŽt matter much.)

Just for the ones who are interested: I have found the original titlepage that I used for the 2nd drawing. Correction: it is only nineteen years old ;). That titlepage was the start of a collection of pics of girls/women whose faces look attractive/interesting for me. I did this because it was more fun than collecting stamps and I found out what is usually attractive for me.
The collection is the reason that still today I am VERY interested in peopleŽs faces. Some members know that already (XXX for the ones who uncovered their faces for me).

GermanSteve, Nikki, and legend...TY TY very much! :DIt was really kind of fun to make, even though it was all by hand. One of these days I'll get it finished and and finally hang it up. :o
