I find that after cumming the first time, i find it really difficult (almost impossible) to maintain an erection to continue intercourse. I'm still young so it's not a matter of age so I don't know if something is wrong with me. I'm sure there's no sort of diet/pills but would it be worth visiting the doctor?

No need to go to a doctor, honey. Unfortunately for you guys, once you've cum that's pretty much it for a while at least. I've certainly never had a guy who's been able to stay hard enough to continue intercourse after he's cum. The penis is designed by mother nature to get hard enough to penetrate, and ejaculate as deeply into your partner as possible. After this happens, the penis' work is done (even if you or your partner wishes it wasn't!) and it no longer needs to stay hard.

Yeah, some guys stay hard for a little while after, but it's definitely the norm to lose your hard-on after you've cum - otherwise you'd be in a constant state of sexual arousal, and that could get pretty uncomfortable, not to mention embarassing!

Don't fret about it sweetie and if you're worrying about cumming before your partner and not being able to continue intercourse for her benefit, remember there are plenty of other ways to make a woman cum, and i'm sure she'll love you for trying them!!!!

If it wasn't for this natural aspect of male sexuality, I wouldn't have learned how to give a great (if do I say so myself) blow job!
Enjoy it!

yep dogmajay.. the ladies who posted before me.. are completely right :) All part of mother nature.. and I for one enjoy that period of time in particular because it allows me to pleasure a man leasurely until he is ready to go again.

And IF there happens to be a situation in which that period of time lasts longer than either of us desires... there are other sexual pleasures that can take place :) Ah.. the tongue is a wonderful thing indeed ;)

All above is true of course. If you're having trouble to regain an erection could be general tiredness, over-indulgence in sex, lack of fitness, too much booze and MOST IMPORTANTLY smoking. Smokers get a fraction of the number of involuntary nocturnal erections that non-smokers do. (At last, a REAL reason for giving up.)

there's a differance between ejacutlation and cumming. it is possible to ejaculate and keep going. i might have the terms reversed but to me ejaculation is when cum leaves my body. cumming is mental as well. if you don't relax after you cum and keep stimulating (like in the case of intercourse keep moving don't slow down) you can keep going. it is a kind of zen thing....where the journey is more important than the destination.

then you raise the problem of do you want to fix this. yeah it sounds great but first contrary to popular opinion many women cry for water and rest after an hour or so. also then technical problem such as her running dry and needing outside lubrication. also this way, there is no big bang and at the end stopping will feel abrupt and faking an orgasm cause the simpsons are on gets real strange.

This is true. A woman once fellated me to ejaculation, swallowed and kept going, hardly missing a stroke. While my penis lost some rigidity immediately after, I maintained my erection, and it soon regained it's usual ironwood-like quality. ;) We soon moved on to genital intercourse, with no "downtime" whatsoever. (Technical mode off.)
