Household hint: Hang underwear from ceiling fixture as reminder to do something you would otherwise forget.

Got hint from aunt who would hang sons' jockstraps on chandelier when they kept neglecting to do chore. She wouldn't say anything, just sat under jockstrap drinking her tea. (Yes, this is weird family.)
