And you thought all the electricity flowing through this marvelous site was some recent fluke ... well ... let's get some historical context to the original "Pixi sparkle" ...

I just learned thatin 1832 the first mechanical electrical generator was demonstrated in Paris by none other than ... yes ...

By the way, as strange as it may sound, the note about Mr. Pixii is absolutely true. Reference the book, "The Last Two Million Years" published by The Reader's Digest Association in the chapter, "Man the Inventor." It was published in 1973.
