Planning on picking it up this weekend. Really enjoyed it at the theatre and look forward to the next installment.
There's a preview of "The Two Towers" on the DVD. It looks equally incredible as the first.

TY Eros...I don't even watch the trailers of the movies I want to see! They always give away the best parts!

We went and saw it in Germany, and then on post once it got there. My husband reserved our copy weeks ago, and took the day off work to be waiting when blockbuster opened to pick it up. Then he talked the lady out of her pen she was wearing. Needless to say, he's a little obsessed. Funny I should see this thread. I love the movie, but he's downstairs right now watching it for the fourth time already! I think I'll wait a week or so before I watch it again!:p

for those that can have a little more patience... you might want to wait for the director's cut release... it was supposed to follow the first release by about a month (I need to do a little more checking to see if this is really the case)....
but I liked it some much on the screen that I am going to wait to see what other goodies might be coming on the future release.
update: looks like the "extended release" is set for Nov. 12... I may not be able to wait and will have to buy both :p

Hey everyone...I happen to work for a company that owns movie theaters here in Washington so I end up with info on most of the upcoming movies. Here is the link to the official Lord Of The Rings website: www.lordoftherings.net

Aw gosh, now I feel like a real nerd. I saw it five times in the theatre. Just kept tagging along with all of my friends when they saw it, and mith my boyfriend, and with my parents! I loved it. My mom got the DVD in the mail today (for those of you that don't know, I'm home from college).
What's wrong with being a nerd? :p I would have watched it AT LEAST 5 times in the theater if time/funds would have allowed!!

Which "older wizard guy"? Ian McKellan (Magneto) or Christopher Lee (Count Dooku, Dracula)?
