View Full Version : Should I be worried

During the last few years with my S/O we have watched porn movies onces in a while to spice things up.
But during the last six months it seems that every time she wants to have sex we have to put a porno in for a little while and then we go at it. If it's time to have sex, I am almost always ready to go but lately she has been suggesting that I go get a porno before we have sex.
So anyways, should I:
Be worried that she is losing interest in me and needs additional stimulation to get her going?
OR
Be happy as hell that I have a woman that loves porn and wants to watch it with me?
Just wondering.
CK

hmmm...well speaking from experience cause my s/o and I love to watch porn...sometimes I am just ready to go but she pops in a tape, but after a couple of minutes I say what the hell, watch a little porn with a lady ready to get laid, its a hell of a lot better than watchin porn with the guys trying hide the hardon.
So ill tell you what i tell myself, watch, learn, and fuck.

I was living with a guy several years ago and it got to the point that I was bored out of my mind with him so I would look at porn before we did anything. And during!
Coach, this might not be the case with you and yours but I'm just giving an anecdote from my experience.

If I had to wager a guess, and I emphasize guess, maybe she prefers the porn because it's a surefire method of getting herself excited. (I know it always works for me.) An anecdote may be to wean her off of the tapes with some spontaneous moments...?
Just an idea...

Coach... women in general require a bit more stimulation that a man when it comes to becoming arroused... just the way we are built. Sometimes it is easier than others to obtain that state of arrousal... it could be much worse... atleast she isn't denying her sexual needs (and yours).
Hang in there...

Oh CK, sometimes people just do not know when they have it GOOD! Tell her a story you've got going on in your head .... create a verbal porn for her and let her imagination focus back to you .... well, it would work for me anyway! X's jjjjbo

Thanks Lilith you made me LMFAO. I'm not sure I would be able to walk if I took a trip to Florida!

JJ -- Thank you as well, I know your words have made me excited several times.
I appreciate all the kind words from everyone. I suppose I'm not actually worried, perhaps its the same as a woman wanting to use a vibrator or playing with herself during sex. Instead of taking it as an offense, I suppose I should just go with the flow. After all, my orgasms are easy to achieve.
Yes i would say cherish the fast that you have a woman that is open to things like watching porn rarther than one who has no interest in anything. All that matters is that the person who gets the outcome is you.

It sounds to me like watching a porno is her form of foreplay. Do you two have foreplay in other ways before having sex? (Please don't take offense to this one...) Does it last long?
It might not be that she is "losing interest in you", but maybe she simply wants what she is "familiar" with? When I masturbate, I almost never touch my pussy, and I almost never use a dildo/vibe. I have this clit "toy" (it is an electric shaver with the cap taken off of it (as if you were gonna clean it) and I hold the vibrating part to my clit) that I love to use. Even if a man is fingering me or using toys on me, I prefer to add my clit "toy" to the fun as well!
It is "familiar" to me. It is what I am used to. And, most importantly, I know it's what makes me cum! Sure, other things make me cum, too, but this method is my favorite. :o
I wouldn't worry about it too much. You can always talk to her and find out from her what is going on. If it is what you fear, then the two of you can talk together about your sex lives and what you both think you can do to make things better.

I think that MastesPuppi has hit on the right idea. Talk to your S/O about it. Find out why she is wanting to watch the porn. Maybe it is something as simple as wanting to share with you what turns her on. Or is she knows that you like porns, then maybe she is tr ying to accomodate you and your needs. But I would definitely talk to her about and not read a whole lot into yet.
