Okay, here is the situation. I'm 23 and only recently lost my virginity (like, in the past few months). Now, due to the nature of my relationship with my man, (it's real long distance) we have only had sex a handful of times. But that's not the problem. The problem is, each time we do I bleed. I mean, I expected it the first couple of times....but it's getting on my nerves real quick. I mean, we'll be going at it, everything is all nice, and then he'll be like, "you're bleeding". And that will be the end. Neither of us ever get fufilled. :( Now, my friends have told me it should stop....but it's not. Not yet at least. Anyone have any ideas on how long this kind of thing usually takes to stop? Any info will be welcome.
(Sorry if this is in the wrong forum or anything.)

No, you're in the right forum, & I suggest you visit a doctor or clinic soon... I don't know what the problem is, but you should find out what the deal is as soon as possible

I have to back Scotz up here, it needs to be checked out by a Dr.
So many things it could be but continual bleeding as a result of intercourse is not the norm.

Yeah... I agreed with them here. Go check with the doc. I know how sick it is when you are having fun but suddenly ur guy tells u that u are bleeding. Even if you lost a virginity, the bleeding should stop at the very first day. Or maybe a few days after but not everytime u have sex with your guy. So you better have to go to ur doc.
I wish you luck ;)

1. See all above.
2. You don't say how long between visits. It is not uncommon for
a period of high emotion to bring on, well, a period.
3. see point 1.

Good advice from all above! Only a doctor can tell if there is an actual problem. If your family doctor is also your gynecologist then see him/her. But if not, see a gynecologist so that he/she can do an internal exam. If you are using condoms, they may be the problem. Some women are allergic to latex, although I have never heard of bleeding as a side effect. It may be something as simple as too much friction and a lubricant would be in order till you are more used to the actual act of intercourse. To calm you a bit, I don't think this seems like a life or death situation. But to be safe and to help the situation a doctor would need to do an internal to make sure there is no obsrtuction that may be the cause. And one more thing. It may be a good idea to schedule this exam while your boyfriend is visiting in case the doctor has a question that only he can answer, for example. Good luck.

I concur with a visit to the doc being in order. I would also suggest that you use a lubricant. When you are first beginning to be sexually active sometimes nerves can override desire, and that can cause you to produce less natural lube. I would suggest a lube that is compatible with the condoms that you are using (PLEASE USE A CONDOM:)). Nerves + condoms + recent virginity can = irritation and bleeding....... You are not alone... been there done that (just a really long time ago :D). All will work itself out but a doc should be consulted whenever you become sexually active or there are changes in your body.Good luck hun!

D) all the above
Also, how long was it between sex times? Sometimes you just have to press on and get relaxed down there. Time makes everything tight again and he could just be tearing you a lil inside over again because you didnt keep working at it. Its like body building. You tear your muscles enough and they get used to it and rebuild they way you left em, but if you never tear em completely to rebuild, they go back to the way it started.
Doc visit would be a good start. If nothing is wrong, I suggest just do sex as often as you can and let the muscles break and build to his size. Maybe then it will get easier over time. Have you tried using a toy about the same or bigger than what he is during downtime?

Well, I did see the Gyno right after our first few times (coincidentally) and told her about it, but she didn't seem too worried. We do use condoms, and I'm prolly going on the pill real soon too- for other reasons. Uhm, due to the long distance thing our times apart have gone from 2 weeks up until a month and a half. I was thinking the same thing as what love_2licku was saying.... I mean this past weekend, it seemed to take longer before the bleeding did start and it wasn't as much as before....almost over before it started. I've gotta see the doc again in the next few weeks, so I'm gonna bring it up again then....since I won't be seeing my boy for many months from now...:( I don't think nerves were a major factor this last time....nor was the lube part....we kinda got each other going earlier in the day (before a friend's wedding) and *boom!* was all over the place come the time we went back to the hotel after the reception...we were both more than ready and willing.
Believe me, if this weren't long distance and I wasn't totally in love with him, I'd find a way to get more "workouts" in...

Goddess, I am really sorry to hear that. But I doubt there is anything wrong with it. I mean not so much serious things abt it but I still advise u to visit to the doc again. Maybe try some other doc.
I sure hope that it wasn't anything that serious. Keep us update yah? Good luck again!

That kinda time can have an effect on sex life. I suggest getting a toy around the size of his dick to keep ya a)satisfied and b)loosened up for when he does cum your way ;)

You might need to see another doc because one that doesnt seem to concerned about a problem that you have might not be the one! I found this out the hard way. And in a LDR masterbation makes the hard grow fonder. Phone sex does too! So grab some lube and a nice toy and go to work.
