Ok, here's one I haven't seen yet....

What is the one drink you absolutely have to have like everyday. In the morning, or whenever you are extremely thirsty??

Mine...Diet Mountain Dew

I switched from regular while on a diet. Its the only part of the diet I stuck to! :D

...coffee, preferably Tim Horton's...I have a pin on my jacket that says "Give me coffee and no one gets hurt"...people think it's pretty funny, but it's not...it's the truth...:D

I'm not myself until I've had that first cup of coffee in the morning.

Must have my Diet Pepsi!! Or some sort of diet soda. But I prefer Pepsi.
I'm not a coffee drinker....can't stand the stuff. I love the smell of fresh brewed coffee, but just can't abide the taste. Love Irish Breakfast tea, and most other teas too.

I am a coffee junkie, but if I am really thirsty I like very cold water with lots of carbon gas. That works like the best solvent for the sticky slime in your throat. :fish:

Need to tell also about my worst refreshing drink exprience: I went to the EXPO in Lissabon. There I went to McDonald´s for eating and a coke. At McD it seems to be the system that they get the coke delivered as a concentrated liquid that they mix with the local water and carbon gas. That coke tasted very strong like chlorine. But it was not enough. Already halve an hour later I suffered from diarrhoea...:redghost:

Coffee thick with cream and sugar in the morning, then ice cold green tea with mint for the remainder of my day.

i usually have to have a coke product every day, like Coca-Colal, Mello yello, Dr. Pepper but Mountain Dew is good too, the code red is a substitute also, sometime the cheap Walmart brand is ok like the Mountain Lightning or Dr. Thunder

Well... I am a certified sugar/caffine junkie. I have to have 2 cups of coffee most days to feel right. I am addicted to Pepsi, and iced tea, sweet, no weird flavors. I am trying to drink more water, but it is sooo boring!

Brewed coffee, not the instant crap. Some coke.

Love the smell of leaf tea, but can't stand the taste.

Plain "Soda-stream" soda water with a dash of lemon or lime juice.

The one and only drink that I must have is coffee (yes, without it the pounding headache sets in). Once the need for coffee has be satiated I am usually drinking cold water or root beer.

I always liked beer the best. Now I can't have that.I usually alternate between Mountain Dew Diet&Diet Dr. Thunder. As a diabetic;I had to count carbohydrates once and was amazed at
the amount in regular Mountain Dew.Check your labels;sometime.
You'll be suprised at the amount in regular soda.If I ever went back(highly unlikely)to drinking alcohol.I would have beer. After all
of this time;I still miss beer.Don't miss whisky or wine at all but I
loved beer! Irish

There are no signs of mental activity untill I have 2 - 3 cups of coffee. And it has to be plain coffee, no fancy gormet flavors.

Since I'm a tea person, I thought I would add this...

There are certain rules that you have to follow to make good tea....never leave water in the pot after rinsing it, use hot water to rinse, and NEVER EVER wash the pot. Oh and always add the leaves first.

Best black leaf tea is billy tea, then a pot brew, and lastly tea bags.

And remember REAL MEN DRINK TEA :D

Tea belongs, as a group of proto-Americans thought, at the

bottom of Boston harbour.

legend---President Carters brother was known for Billy Beer but I
never heard of billy tea! Irish
OF---The Boston Harbour is full of Brown Trout;but I always thought that was from the sewage;not the tea!

Irish - billy tea is tea made in a billy (a metal can) over a fire. What you do is boil the water in the billy, then take it off the fire and add the leaves. Don't listen to those idiots who think you have to swing the billy around, all u need to do is put the billy with the leaves in it back on the fire for a few seconds. Tastes great.

Farmer's Union Iced Coffee - anyone from South Australia will know what I mean.

legend---Thanks for the explanation but I have one question. If a
metal can was called a metal can;would it then be called"metal
can tea"instead of billy tea? Irish

Irish,

A Billy is a small boiling can same as a Dixie is a small

military fry-pan.

COFFEE
But I only have 2 cups in the morning………… before I leave for breakfast and have 2-3 more. At work I do half a pot by noon, but I will drink a soda if it’s hot out with lunch. In the summer I can make do with the rest of that pot in the afternoon. Just a few slow cups with dinner and when I get home, a last pot in the evening, once in a while, leaving those start-up cups for morning.

What I want to know about is that theory on movable eyelids.

I always start the day with 2 cups of coffee myself. My wife often asks me if I want another.I tell her;"I'm an alcoholic;not a coffeeholic! Thanks anyway."I have to set limits on myself. That is
one thing that I have learned.Sounds stupid to others but I know
me!ABOUT TIME! Irish
