Have you heard this song by Darren Hayes?
I'm not normally into *bubble gum* type music but this song is wonderful.
Nice instrumentals, good beat...very sexy.
Heard it for the first time tonite and have it playing right now.
What are you listening to?

i can't stand that music! boy/girl bands (never heard the term bubble gum music) really annoy me.....and don't get me started on country (i refuse to use the word music in conjunction with this word).....but that's just me.....and i'm sure some people will think that what i listen to is crap too....but hey, that's individuality for ya.

So just crank up "Pixies Karoke and Air Instrument Band" and we'll play anything you want to hear....may not be the greatest sound, but we try hard...

Methinks that Legend is DATING himself if he never heard the term
"bubble gum"music.I'm with you legend on country music!I hate it;
but my wife loves it!I can take "Country Rock"but the old nasely,
twangy crap;I can't take.All the old ones are the same.They just have different words!It's always a boyfriend or husband;who;
beats on his wife or girlfriend, gets drunk, thrown in jail, and drives
a pickup. Irish
P.S.Now we'll hear all the people who think that counntry is great.
That must be why they make Green cars&Blue cars.So that every-
one can get what they like!Different strokes;for different folks!

Ahh, I think Irish is doing the same with "Different Strokes, etc."
LOL....'s ok....I'm from the same time....
Irish, I agree completely on that tho'. These day's I'm strictly Country BUT if anyone had told me years ago that I'd someday listen to country music I would have laughed right in their face.
But, oh, about 20 yrs ago or so I got tired of nothing new/original/ or even remotely good coming out of the Rock 'n' Roll industry. So I took the plunge and switched.
Right now, my car radio switches between Country and "Oldies" depending on my mood.:p

I finally bought the CD today with the song on it.
Here are the lyrics to Insatiable...
hot hot HOT stuff!!
Artist: Darren Hayes
Album: Insatiable
Title: Insatiable
When moonlight crawls along the street
Chasing away the summer heat
Footsteps outside somewhere below
The world revolves I let it go
We build our church above this street
We practice love between these sheets
The candy sweetness scent of you
It bathes my skin I'm stained by you
And all I have to do is hold you
There's a racing in my heart
I am barely touching you
[Chorus]
Turn the lights down low
Take it off
Let me show
My love for you
Insatiable
Turn me on
Never stop
Wanna taste every drop
My love for you
Insatiable
The moonlight plays upon your skin
A kiss that lingers takes me in
I fall asleep inside of you
There are no words
There's only truth
Breathe in Breathe out
There is no sound
We move together up and down
We levitate our bodies soar
Our feet don't even touch the floor
And nobody knows you like I do
The world doesn't understand
But I grow stronger in your hands
[Chorus]
Turn the lights down low
Take it off
Let me show
My love for you
Insatiable
Turn me on
Never stop
Wanna taste every drop
My love for you
Insatiable
Turn the lights down low
Take it off
Let me show
My love for you
Insatiable
Turn me on
Never stop
Wanna taste every drop
My love for you
Insatiable
We never sleep we're always holdin' hands
Kissin' for hours talkin' makin' plans
I feel like a better man
Just being in the same room
We never sleep there's just so much to do
Too much to say
Can't close my eyes when I'm with you
Insatiable the way I'm loving you
[Chorus]
Turn the lights down low
Take it off
Let me show
My love for you
Insatiable
Turn me on
Never stop
Wanna taste every drop
My love for you
Insatiable

I love the Monkees. I used to have their greatest hits until a friend of mine let someone borrow it and they never were heard from again. :(

Monkees were a cynical effort to gouge kids money for
records and "name merchandise".
Still they gave us some top nostalgia songs.
It's a generation thing.

Of course it was, OF. They were a studio-created band. But the music was fun just the same...
I think they developed into more than what the studio ever expected..

There was Crosby, Stills and Nash. Graham Nash is British and was with the Hollies prior to the formation of Crosby, Stills and Nash.

Side note: Stephen Stills auditioned for the Monkees, turned down for bad teeth, but when asked if he knew any others who might interested suggested his friend Peter Tork...
OF - thus the Monkees unofficial nickname, "The Pre-Fab Four" ;)

Yes, Zoid, the prototype Partridge Family if you leave out the
Cowsills connection.

OF---You ruined my theory!I thought that I was the only one still
alive that remembered The Partridge Family! Irish
P.S.I thought that was funny when someone wrote that they were in a music store and heard a young girl tell another that they never knew that Paul McCartney was in a band before
"Wings."

Should I admit that I still have a Cowsills album? Or the Partridge Family LP... that one I can blame on the wife...
