Parties....Meetings...and Orgies Oh My!

I've heard alot of talk about parties and meetings on Pixies.

If we held a Pixies Members Convention (Swingin' Orgy)

What city would host it and where would we hold it?

How many people would be interested in such a get together?

I think it would prob be in the US somewhere and i think it would have to be somewhere quiet. I mean could you imagine all of us havin an orgy in the middle of a busy hotel or somethin. we would all get locked up!!(mind you the hancuffs would be a treat). Unless someone here is really rich and has a mansion then we could all stay there.:D ;) :p

Since it'll probably never happen, let's make it somewhere really different. How about in an ice hotel in Lapland? We'll all have a good reason to warm the place up! Sorry if it's not quite the release from those Canadian winters. We could always hold the next meet in Tahiti!

I doubt the ice hotels of Lappland would last long in the heat of the ultimate Pixie's orgy... Tahiti sounds great, I think our Canadian members have had about enough friggin snow & ice for one year, eh?

Realistically... I would dearly love to meet almost any member of this Pixies' family in person so if it were within my (meagre) student budget, I would definitely do my best to attend a gathering. Of course, I'd have to come up with some kind of excuse to feed my family, etc., but that's perfectly do-able. I have to say, though, that although I'm sure I'd flirt like mad, I don't think I'd be participating in any orgies or one-on-one sexual encounters --- I would never do that to my boyfriend.

As for where, a tropical paradise sounds like, well, paradise, but I think somewhere a little less exotic is probably more realistic. I agree with Danziggy --- likely somewhere in the mainland US is most central, for those coming from Europe and for those coming from Australia, as well as for us North Americans.

And when? Name the date, I'll be there.

As for events, I think we've got enough musical talent here to put together a great concert; there'd definitely have to be dancing; maybe we could organize some speakers to do presentations/seminars on anything from photographic technique to tantra to motorcycle repair! Oh oh oh! You know those lingerie parties, like Tupperware only silkier? Wouldn't it be great fun to have something like that? And of course there would have to be plenty of time to just hang out and shoot the breeze, getting to know each other for real...

It is do-able!! I have a solution. I live in south Florida, which is beautiful, fun, and warm. If you come off season (tourist season) a group rate at a decent hotel wouldn't be bad. I think most could afford it. I also have the perfect meeting place!! I am a member of a club that would love to host such a party!! The atmosphere is adult, and sexual, but not pushy. Those who wished to play, could do so. Those who didn't could watch, or stay in the main room. There are many rooms to play in, and a buffet, and a d.j...
I would be happy to organize such a party! Even if only a few people came, would still be fun to meet face to face.

I was thinking it might be a gawdawful long flight from Oz, which is why I thought somewhere in the Pacific might be a nice compromise.... hey, lookie here, Hawaii is right there in the middle... hmmmm... yeh, the Brits all take the Concorde to No. America, pick up the Canadians & Americans, off to paradise & meet the Aussies there... holy logistics, Batman!

If we are talking for real, then it makes sense to do it by location. I am seriously thinking of trying to organize a meeting. Who else will host a party in their region? We could post pics on the site. Would be a blast! I may even start a thread about it. Will see what happens!

That's a great idea Sadora. I enjoy Florida (as long as it's not storm season :D). You should start the thread I think people would really be interested.
