post-orgasm headache?

greetings all, we are new to this group & have found reading the posts very interisting & informative as well.

We do have a possibly strange question however.

Every once in a while after wife has a very large orgasm she gets a very bad headache that only lasts about a minute or so.
The question:

is this somewhat normal, or are we the only ones experiencing it?

I get those after having oral sex. It's like a big head rush but with pain! I don't know why they happen or why they hurt so bad, but I personally don't worry about them.
Maybe that's why some orgasms are called 'mind blowing'!! (sorry I couldn't resist!!)

Just a theory but headaches are caoused by involuntary muscle contractions on the head/neck. (Ad far as I remember). Could it be that her body was in so much contraction during these orgasms that it just taking a little longer for her muscles to relax? Again just a theory. But I think its plausible.

my hubby teases me and calls it my "Tuma" in his worst Ahhhhnorld S. accent. I think it has to do with blood flow. First it is all south and has to travel north fast and hard.:D It is Vaso Vagel something I think....... Some have passed out. I can get really dizzy... but it is worth it.

I sometimes have a chill run up my spine during orgasm, & once or twice it has terminated in a sharp head/neck pain... I supposed if it goes away in a minute, should not be any damage done (I hope)

Had an experience where after a long period of growing

sexual tension we got to the point of of the act, I had a

blinding headache which lasted for about a half hour.

Doctor said it's common, has a name and is a function of

prolonged excitement.
