60th Wedding Anniversary

Sorry, been gone for a while. Celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary 6/22nd.
Not quite the same as our 50th when we took "The Spirit of Peoria" renting the lower deck and inviting 120 guests to our celebration. A friend prepared the food and we found out 3 other couples were celebrating their 50th anniversary that year also. So we introduced them.

This year we had our pastor "Renew our wedding vows" and went to lunch with some very good friends.

Thank you all very much. Our 3 daughters rented the "Presidential Suite" at the Pere Marquette Hotel in Peoria and 42 members of our extended family showed up to congratulate us on our anniversary and my wife's birthday on the 3rd of July and my upcoming birthday on the 18th of July. :D

I had a sign in the back window of our car that read (on our anniversary) "Just Married 60 years ago; still on our honeymoon."

We still have fun.
