Where do I start????? How???

Okay.... here is a bit of back story....

I left Pixies for several years... during which I married (after 14 years of being single) a man who I had every intention of spending the rest of my life with... that was until I discovered he was using meth and seeing his ex-wife... that was 3 years ago... I have been single ever since....

I am now at a point where I am missing the companionship & the SEX.... however, I am not one for the bar scene and haven't figured out any other way to meet eligible worthy men....

Looking for suggestions, experiences, etc....

Well, what social activities do you enjoy outside of the bar scene? Start with what you know, what you're comfortable with.

Start with your friends, family, neighbors.... let them know you're looking. Somebody may know somebody.... or maybe they have a brother.

What about at work?

My friend was working at a grocery store. She noticed this one guy came to her register quite often. She said hello, he asked her out, they been together ever since. Well something like that.

Maybe give a dating site a try? My friends daughter has been dating a really nice guy she met on line, for 6 or 7 months. Use all on line safety guidelines!

My sister-in-law met my brother at Church. She says the nice guys are there.

Tried Plenty of Fish... attracted a scammer right out of the gate... fortunately I figured it out quickly (during first conversation)....

I'm not into bars and tend to be an introvert, so that works against me...

Just accepting my current situation isn't going to lead anyone into my life.

TINDER is much better, more tightly managed. I highly recommend it. Easy to use and it's fun.

I have never tried Tinder, or even Match or Harmony.

Being a slightly aggressive extrovert in many ways, and someone who loves bars, I didn't need to.

But I have met a lot of people for hook-ups through more *ahem* "specialized" and sadly some defunct websites/chat rooms that were aimed at those with a more adventurous life.

Hub City Select, Lifestylesconvention, and CouplesXscape are still around.

These groups LOVE single women members and attendees. I speak from lots of "Oh my God will I ever walk normally again" experience.


I do have a slew of friends who have tried Match, eHarmony and even Tinder, often with positive results, including marriage, but I have never used them.

Sometimes having a full sex life as a single woman requires a little bit of willingness to take (SAFE) chances.

Try one of the conventions. There will be hundreds, if not thousands of other women there, and you can have a lot, or little or no sex as you want to.

The seminars and classes are fun too!
