I was never a big fan of the 1970’s duo 'Captain & Tennille'. Do you remember Muskrat love? Do that to me one more time? Or Love will keep us together?
I came across 'Do that to me one more time' this week and it took me back to the night my then bf and I crashed on the living room floor in our friends very, very, VERY small apartment. To say the walls were paper thin would be an understatement.
In an effort to keep us from hearing them fucking later that night, they played the Capt & Tennille. Actually think this was a regular thing for them to have music on when they played. But now when I hear Tennille's sugary sweet voice I think back to that night of laying there in the dark listening to our friends.
