I've only read some parts of Die Blechtrommel, but I see it's out of stock on Amazon today. I do have a copy of Katz und Maus upstairs, though. Might go re-read it.

I'm really not familiar with Gunter Grass, his works or his past, but, I'll leave his judgment to his creator. RIP Gunter Grass.
