Wondering how you carve your Halloween pumpkin.....
Do you do the triangle eyes and nose and the missing tooth grin?
Or do you carve those intricate special ones that make people go "wow!" ?
Can we see pictures?

I generally try to stick with the more traditional Jack O'Lantern. I haven't carved a pumpkin in a few years though.

I don't carve, I draw/paint on them-save the squash for baking.
I haven't carved a pumpkin since my grandson was younger....nothing fancy or artsy fartsy lol

With our kids grown, we haven't carved a pumpkin in several years ... but generally we used variations on the triangle shaped eyes and nose and the toothy looking mouth. One year, did a few that were a bit more artistic. I think the store had a "carving set" with patterns and we used it. That used to be a really big deal when the kids were small. :(

Pumpkins etc are being slowly taken up, commercially driven of course.

Why do we stop carving pumpkins just cause the kids are grown? We all do.
So many things we 'do for the kids'.
Check out these..... hard to believe some of them are pumpkins!!! I wonder if that guy has kids. :)

Those were neat, TB! And, you're right ... we do tend to stop doing things when the kids are grown. Too bad. They still can be fun. :(
