We saw Lilith's post about her baby getting accepted to his #1 college pick. (Go Lil!!! You're a smart cookie with smart cookie crumbles. Good job, proud mommy!)

Likewise for me. My oldest son has been in school for three years and has one year to go. After grants & scholarships, his bill is around $23,000 a year.

My daughter has been accepted into one school so far and it would likely cost us $26,000 per year.

Yep...that means next year I will have to write checks for $49,000.

And my youngest is a sophomore in high school, so there's no end in sight.

/me is crapping his pants over this.

So what about you? Figuratively, please. No need for scat reports.

Still finishing up my loans. Inching closer every day. But brown each time the money slides away...

Well, my daughter has her surgery Wednesday for the (hopefully last) of the fallout from her accident back in March (she was the pedestrian in a pedestrian struck by auto accident).

And the financial fallout from this still has me figuratively shitting my pants.

Gekkogecko, I'll second those good wishes. Hopefully all goes well and she'll be back to 100% soon.

That may be something SHE would enjoy telling them. :brows:

Whilst going through medical bills today, the husband ran across one of his bills from his accident in July for $98,000.00 .... :yikes: :yikes: :yikes:

Gotta agree with PF. She'll have to tell people once she's showing, so she'd get to practice on her Dad & Aunt. :)

Or you could buy a baby bib or something, give it to her as a late Christmas gift in front of them?
