Went and saw it this morning. I dig that Sandra Bullock. I know the Science is messy but it was a good flick still.

You have theaters where you live that are open in the morning?

Even the big premieres aren't afforded that. Sorry the odd one does have a midnight showing. Earliest on a weekend is 1pm.

I still like a good old fashioned drive-in!

So the movie was good eh? lol

Our cinemas normally start 10-10.30am.

Drive-ins have become a thing of the past.

Many years ago I had an apartment next to a drive-in. The screen could be seen from the bathroom window. Without sound and not being able to read lips made it lose it's appeal quickly.

There is still a working/running open drive-in about 45 min. north of me. One of the very few left in New England.

We have a drive-in close to us too. We usually go there for kid's movies. I think we saw one of the Pirates movies there, and Wall-E. Good times!

I remember as a teen sneaking into the drive in via trunks of cars. That was back when trunks held four to six bodies and no one checked for contraband pop and chips, like they do now.At least they do here in my neck of the woods.

Ours doesn't check for contraband. Which is a good thing, because we usually pack a full-fledged picnic dinner.

They check teenager's cars trunks though, cuz they're very likely to be full. I've never had mine checked though. Which is another good thing. I'm behind on my burying.

Last time I went, a kid Of about 17 told me to pop my trunk. This is after we had paid for the tickets. I told him to produce a warrant and he just backed off and let me continue in.

All the stuff was under our seats.:)
