Let's see whatcha got.

I have my phone and a shopping list.

In addition to the regular stuff, I need to remember:

Empanada shells
tortillas
bananas
imitation honey
feta cheese
supplies to make oatmeal raisin cookies
onion rolls
trash bags

Pen, pocket knife, wallet. Standard supplies for my everyday. I would add my phone, but that's on the desk.

This kind (http://www.walmart.com/ip/Uni-Ball-Signo-Gel-207-Retr-Roller-Ball-Pen-Black-Ink-Medium/21464445)

I have that same pen, but it's pink. Kinda my signature thing to have a pink pen. Plus it keeps the guys at work from steeling from me.

I have no pockets. :)

OF - It appears that you are ready to drive to a place you are intending to break into and steal classified electronic information. I assume the change is for the tolls.

GG - Please tell me the air was in your front pocket?

Lizz - I'll make an exception for you...turn out your bra. :boobs: :slurp:

LS - Love gel rollerballs. I like fine though. Your pen is safe. lol

Pita - See my comment above about people without pockets. :p

Medium works for me.

I've been wanting a really nice refillable fountain pen, but can't seem to find a store that actually sells them, so that I can try a few out. I definitely want a traditional nib to it. Not a roller ball.

I have bought several as gifts for people Lord Snow. I have usually found them at independent boutiques. I do think some better department stores have them in the men's accessories. This site has some nice ones http://www.coloradopen.com/?r=AWPENS&s=AWPENS&gclid=CPSp2du-7LYCFcIv4AodeiIA5g

A shopping list, and a cat whisker in an antique 12-tablet Anacin tin.

Thanks Lil, but the problem remains that while I like the idea of having one I still have to test a few out to find one that I like the feel of using. With standard pens they're cheap enough if I don't like them I can just toss them, but when you're talking a few hundred dollars on splurge item I prefer to know that I'm getting exactly what I want. Think of it like buying a car. You may know what you like the look of, but you don't know quite how it handles and you might not like the ride.

WildIrish

Neige - Is it the tin itself that is antique...or are the contents as well?

LS - I once had a refillable fountain pen that I loved. It had a wider barrel so I was able to write with slightly better control of the nib. Alas...it got lost somewhere like most of the other pens I have. I've since forgotten about it. I'll have to start my own search!

And as for you, my dear Lilith. I presume that because you didn't note that you are currently without pockets, you are flaunting your disobedience. You are rubbing it in my face. You are.....um.....what was I saying?

I'm trying to figure out how to get to what is left in your pocket, once all the extraneous stuff is removed. ;)

I'm actually pretty convinced that the whisker is from a ghost kitty. But the ghost is likely of a kitty that passed away just last month, so not so antique.

Those are some crazy pockets, Lil!

Neige - You have the dubious distinction of being the only one I've ever known that has a ghost whisker in their pocket. But in all fairness...I haven't asked a lot of people. lol

Soda - It's weird...no matter how many different pairs of pants I wear, I always have that in my pocket. :p

Just got home from our daughter's home near Joliet, IL and dumped everything out of my pockets. Then, I got my laptop out and plugged in in and signed onto Pixies. Looked at this thread and checked and guess what ... the pockets were empty. Now, before I dumped everything out, I had keys, hankerchiefs, billfold, pocket comb, change and some Life Savers ... but that's before I read the question. So, I guess I have to say ... NOTHING. :D

You said I should prove it. That means to me you thought I wasn't telling the truth........... :spin:

btw LS, don't know how old your niece is, but if she is of the age to read a Judy Blume book, you can't go wrong with one of them. My daughter loved them when she was a kid.

Actually, I've been getting her books geared towards the 8-12 range so that her mom can read a chapter a night. Once she's a little older she'll be able to enjoy them on her own.
