Last night, I saw a commercial (which is how I know Mrs. WI has fallen asleep) for Hennessy cognac. Their pitch is that even after 248 years of business, they are still passionate in their pursuit for the perfect cognac. Their commercial featured Manny Pacquiao, the Philippine born world champion boxer turned congressman, who illustrated his rise from nothing and gave credit to his drive to keep "fighting the fight that really matters". It got me thinking about drive and ambition, and about passion. While I consider myself passionate and driven, I don't really have any one specific reason. I was raised to work hard because that's what you're supposed to do. Essentially "Work while you have the light. You are responsible for the talent that has been entrusted to you." is a pretty accurate phrase to describe me. Well, that and "tall naked Irishman". :p

Anywho, I'll figure out what my wild rabbit is someday, I suppose. But what's yours? What drives you? What is your wild rabbit?

children- the ones who need me to advocate for them. I am super awesome with kids with autism. I <3 them better than plain old boring people.

I need constant input of real news stripped of it's populist bullshit and I need a view of breaking science.

I've decided that if I can't identify one major driving force, I'll at least concentrate on recognizing what my "wild rabbit of the day" is. Today, it's the pursuit of setting things straight with the new property so I won't have as many issues going forward.
