:irish: HAPPY ST PADDY'S DAY :irish:

I know it's not until tomorrow, but, as part of the warm-up, I thought I'd pass a St Paddy's Day poem I put together just for you

-----

THE LEPRECHAUN AND THE LASS

The leprechaun was hiding, in a field of emerald clover,
Watching a lassie passin’, on her merry way to Glover.
He couldn’t help but notice, how her bosom shook and jiggled,
And her hips swerved left and right, as her bottom kinda wiggled.

The sight was truly awesome, and he couldn’t help himself,
His cock began to straighten out on this very happy elf.
He had to have this lassie, so he worked out a simple plan.
From his pot of gold he sprinkled, golden coins across the land.

They led the lassie off the path to a meadow o’er the rise,
Where he’d be waiting patiently with the pot between his thighs.
He’d have her sit beside him and reach into the pot,
Where ‘neath a few stray coins, would be his standing cock.

“My goodness,” she would say aloud, “what has my hand now grasped?”
“Family jewels,” he would explain to her, “that are for you my lovely lass.”
She looked at him and giggled when he said she could make it squirt,
“Lay back upon the grass,” he said, “and I’ll move inside your skirt.”

She did as he instructed and lay back upon the ground,
He slid between her shapely legs and lifted up her gown.
His jewels proceeded to explore the magic ‘tween her hips,
And slipped so ever gently through her softly parted lips.

She moaned and whispered softly, “I feel so very full.
I feel you push it in me, while my body tries to pull.
My tummy feels all tingly, and I feel I want to shout,
Keep thrusting your jewels inside me and please don’t pull it out.”

Suddenly she screamed aloud, “Your jewels have shook my tum,
Inside I feel so warm and wet and make a squishy sound.”
“I know,” the leprechaun said out of breath, “I felt my jewels explode,
And into you I fed my seed, my white and creamy gold.”

“I’ll treasure that,” the maid did say, as she stood up once again,
I think tis’ better than those coins for this have within.”
As she started walking down the path, she turned and said goodbye,
And the leprechaun responded with this short reply.

“I hope some day you pass again, along this path and stay,
I’ll show you other ways to reap, the treasure of the day!”
“O' yes, for sure, I will remember, and no doubt it will be done,
Since now I know where the treasure is, and how it gives me so much fun!”

HAPPY ST PADDY’S DAY!

A true treasure to be shared by all, DB. Thank you :)

What's done is done, there'll be no more. :irish:

As many of you know, St Patrick's day is without question the biggest party of the year for our clan. The only day of the year my kids were allowed to skip school with blessing was Paddy's. Now it is that way for there kids and I feel a bit of pride that in this 21st century of flux, a tradition has been ingrained by another generation. :D

The day after Valentines day, the hearts come down and the shamrocks go up. Only Christmas has more decoration and seasonal preparation. Soon 'popular' Irish music is being played and by this week before much 'authentic' Irish music is in the mix and the constant sounds. Now that daughter has become the family matriarch, St. Patrick's days starts at her house for everyone with breakfast of green scrambled eggs, sausages and soda bread. Soon all the official dress is in place and with both police and fire in the family, some will be stocking the parade while the rest will be watching. This year's Cleveland parade being on a Saturday, is expected to be extended 1/2 hour to a bit over 2-1/2 hours. Most of the local TV stations said they will be streaming the full parade for the first time this year.

The end of the parade is when the open house party begins at the "Fanatic's" home. From about 16:00 until some point in the wee of the next morning they will be coming and going as they weave their way home. We always have a few visitors from the other side of town that didn't even attend the parade. Being a Saturday and with an unbelievable weather forecast, we expect more than the 120+ adults and kids as before. With last years 84 pounds of corned beef consumed, we didn't know what to order this year. Decided there has to be a limit so ordered 100 pounds, only picked up 92 so what is done is done. :irish:

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone ... Irish or not. :)

Here's another little jingle I did for the day. Hope you enjoy it!

-------

:irish: ST PADDYS DAY :irish:

Tis the season to be Irish,
When there’s wearin’ of the green.
The beer is flowin’ freely,
And there’s the lassies to be seen.

No doubt there’ll be shenanigans,
Played throughout the day,
Where the laddies grab their lassies,
And there’s humpin’ in the hay.

But you kin tell the day tis over,
It’s obvious as kin be,
On the green, green grass of Ireland,
Will be puddles of … er … his cream. :yikes:

4 1/2 pints (real pints, 20 ounces), of Guinness at my Club. That's six schooners for Sharni and the resy of Oz.

A really happy St Pat's.

I have not even picked up my corned beef yet. Running late on the festivities this year but have a beautiful centerpiece on my table to help us get in the mood!

I didn't see your post-office-worthy face in the crowd, PF.

Here's hoping, Irish or not, that you have a wonderful St. Patrick's Day!

Happy corned beef day, PF.

I've had Guinness at several pro-Irish venues in town.

Apparently there's a call to paint the town black.

St Guinness Day is good, hope you all have a great day.

I'm happy the baton has been grabbed with such gusto. Seeing something meaningful in two more generations is not so common in this age. :nana:

The 2016 edition of St Patrick's day has only an hour left to run here.

Make it a great day up and over, and remember, it didn't happen if we don't get pictures.

TY, Teddy. I've seen a lot of really good stuff from a number of Pixies. I enjoy just tossing together a few simple lines ... it's kind of fun I think ... and, I glad if people enjoy it.
