Let's compare.

The flounder I made for dinner was pasty and my black beans were very salty. :(

Mrs. WI took a shower and upon completion informed me that the tub wasn't draining.

I went in to see if the drain plug was stuck, or maybe if there was something there in the drain, and saw that the tub was filled to the brim.

I examined the trap and was perturbed to discover that there wasn't a clean-out plug there, but there was one in the main line. - removed that plug and found that the bottom 1/3 of the 20' line had a nice even layer of shite. :yikes:

I powerwashed it clean and, thankfully, it all ran outside to the septic tank. But that didn't explain why the tub wasn't draining.

Back I went to the tub trap and found that there was a 4" piece of brass pipe making the transition from the tub to the pvc trap. I removed it and found it to be clogged with hair and soap. Those of you that know me well, know how much I despise hair in the sink, so you can imagine how thrilled I was. at least it was partially disenfected because Mrs. WI pees in the shower. :p. At any rate, I spent the next 30 minutes scooping hair and soap bits out of the trap through the tiny gap (using a teaspoon), and flushing the line clean with a garden hose.

Mind you, it's 40 degrees out and I'm spraying water all over my basement with a hose and a powerwasher.

Feeling any better about your day yet?

Well consider this...when I typed all of this out, I deleted it by pressing the wrong button!

You so don't ever want me in your bathroom... I leave hair everywhere. :p

That's the worst part! Besides the stench of rotting body hair, that is. :eew:

I know it's not my hair! :hair:

I'm another one where my hair ends up everywhere. I have clean the wheels of my computer chair about once a month because of stray hairs being on my bedroom floor clogging them up. And I've pulled mouse sized hair balls out of the shower drain a few times.

why don't you just tell the sheep to take tongue baths from now on?

Well, that's your own fault, you shouldn't keep letting the sheep use your sink.

Sheesh and I actually bitched because the crazy Bulldog fans of my town had to drink a ton of lattes before they could start their tailgating.

WI, you need a hug.....and a warm bath. :x:
