View Full Version : Missing an experience

Throughout my various experiences with women, I have never been able to go to sleep with the girl I just finished sexing up. Either I don't have time to sleep after because of work, or I couldn't stay at her house for different reasons with different ones. I feel like I am missing something but don't really know what. Am I? Or should I feel lucky that I always had that excuse to leave that most guys are looking for? Don't get me wrong, I'm not that asshole that wants to leave before she wakes up! I stayed up most of one night hanging out with a chick that was trying to get totally wasted. I drove her car to take her to check on one of her friends that she was told was in the hospital, who. by the way, wasn't even there. When the night ended she said she wanted to sleep on top of me because it was sexier than me on top, she said. And as soon as she laid down she was out. Now i must say, I did nothing with her that night because it would have felt like rape to me, and I did enjoy using her as a blanket. But I had to go to work in the morning and she was still out cold. It just isn't the same though.

I've always slept next to the person I just had sex with. Now granted I've only had one partner, but I find it rather comforting to know that we're both satisfied and she's safe lying in my arms.

I never said they weren't, circumstances just didn't allow it.

MEH i think im odd but here is my side...i kick hubs outta bed when im done with him! I just CANT fall asleep if there is someone beside me LOL! he is not allowed to enter back into the room untill im out cold! i think its from all our years working dif shifts, he is usually on mids of swings and has RARLEY worked day shift so im so used to sleeping alone i just cant do it any other way. Luckly he is on nights now so i get my lovings and then send him on his way to work LMAO!

honestly tho, even with all the guys before him, i never let any of them stay so i dunno...and if i was at their place id hop out and go home...im just an odd duck i guess, just not all about the cuddling... im not big on hugs and touching unless it leads to sex either... again odd duck i know...

Yay, nikki!! You're not alone. I can't go to sleep with someone beside me. I sometimes doze in my boyfriend's arms but, for the life of me, I can't get into a deep sleep until he's gone. I've upset a few partners in the past but I can't seem to change my pattern.

Oh, I agree about the touching too.

When I was with BamaKyttn I couldn't keep my hands off her, but whether it led to more or not it didn't matter to me. Guess I'm just a touchy feely kind of guy.

I prefer to have my partner in bed as I go to sleep. Reading, knitting, dozing, whatever.

I hate sleeping alone. The extremely rare occaisions when hubby's not here, I have the worst time falling asleep!

I hate sleeping alone. every partner is different, so far LordSnow is the only one I ever remember falling asleep and waking up with his arms around me.

Sleeping with someone makes me feel safer.

Sleeping with your partner is a bonding experience, otherwise it's just a hit and run.

I share Lilith's preferences for sleep.
