Martin Gardner, the man who wrote Scientific American's (http://www.nytimes.com/2010/05/24/us/24gardner.html) 'Mathematical Games' column for 35 years, died Saturday. He was 95 years old.
His column was almost always engaging, and was a strong argument for subscribing to SciAm.
R.I.P. sir.
