THE BANDIT OF BRAZIL

Maybe you remember,
Tho’ it was a while ago,
The story of the bandit,
The bandit of Brazil.

Twas about the year of ’54,
When the song crisscrossed the land,
Sang by sundry pop groups
And played by several bands.

“Ole, I am a bandit,
the Bandit of Brazil

I’m the quickest on the trigger,
when I shoot I shoot to kill
I’m a hero down in Rio,
where they talk about me still.

Once I robbed a big ranchero,
who was rich beyond compare.
and to ransom held his daughter,
she was young and she was fair.

Ole, I am a bandit,
the Bandit of Brazil.

She was sweet and she was tender,
there was love light in her eyes,
In my arms she soon surrendered,
very much to my surprise.

I refused her father’s ransom,
and I kept the greater prize,
now at night we ride together
‘neath the blue Brazilian sky.

Adios to you, Amigo,
Adios to you, my friend.......

Ole, O Cangachero,
the Bandit of Brazil

Ole, Ole, Ole, Ole”

Imagine that fair maiden,
Looking straight into his eyes,
Holding him so tightly,
Softly moaning love’s sweet sighs.

Imagine her warm kisses,
And the softness of her curves,
Her arms wrapped there around him,
He can hear her gentle purrs.

See the moon bright in the sky,
Hear the wind go rustling by,
His sword in moistened glory,
Passion building in their thighs.

Then the powerful eruption,
And the flowing of his seed,
The great feeling of satisfaction,
As he shares his pearly beads.

When the father sends the ransom,
What does the bandit do,
But send the money back to him,
And keeps his sweetheart true.

Today he rides the pampas,
Cross the wide and windswept plains,
A love story to perfection
Life will never be the same.
