$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
takes all the fun out of the holidays for some.
What are some things you like to do around the holidays that cost little or no money????

Listen to Christmas music in a softly lit room while looking at the lights on our tree. To me, that's peaceful and nice.

Trimming the tree. :)
Listening to Christmas music
Seeing the lights on people's houses
Going to the mall and watching the little kids sit on Santa's lap.
Watching holiday movies, like It's a Wonderful Life or The Christmas Story, or Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, or Frosty the Snowman, or one of those sappy ass Hallmark Christmas movies. :D
Sucking slowly on a candy cane
Dragging my beloved to Walmart to buy cheap stuff that we can afford!!

I sat in Santa's lap today...had my picture made too! LOL! And I found out later, Santa even grabbed my ass a lil' bit.
*helps that my hubby is the one that was playing Santa at his work*

Singing a particular Christmas song around one of my cousins. He really hates it from his retail days.

I was listening to "Mary, Did You Know" and "The Little Drummer Boy" yesterday. I sure love those two songs. :)
Sitting out back with a nice fire goin' in my firepit.A pot of coffee brewing over the flames....just starin...stokin.....and relaxing :)
*especially tomorrow....when the Nor'easter dumps about a foot of snow on us....WOO HOO!!!!

I like wearing my festive holiday hat, which of course is black & white instead of red & white. In addition, it has the words "Bah, Humbug" written around the brim in large, unfriendly letters.

Let's hear it for Ebeneezer.
Ebeneezer, Ebeneezer ... he's our man,
Loves to watch live ghost shows ... when, of course, he can!
Travels to the workplace and to the graveyard too,
Shivering in the midnight cold in a bathrobe done in blue.
The ghost chastises that ol' man with warnings 'bout his sins,
Then disappears into the haze and far away from him.
:yikes:
