Bah, she's probably too busy watching ice hockey & managing her fantasy league teams to deal with Pixie's these days.

Aqua THE AVS????? Shame on you! :curse:

It's been a week past forever since I've been here and/or posted. I suppose I should try to catch you all up on what's been going on with me.

We're still living in SW Missouri, the land of "what the hell is hockey?" We got back to Detroit in June to visit the family and had a wonderful time. It was the first time we'd been home to visit when it wasn't for a funeral since we moved in 2003. In the meantime Murphy (remember him?) and his family moved to NJ, where they are originally from. Things didn't work out so great there, especially when the economy went south, so they just moved back to Missouri a month or so ago. Things are looking up for them, fortunately.

I've had a lot of health problems the last couple of years. Last year I had heart surgery. I needed to have my aortic valve replaced. The surgery went great and in the heart department, I feel fantastic. However, I'm currently having a load of back problems. Not sure if anything other than pain meds can be done for it. I'm still in the process of various dr. appointments to see what can be done.

And now for the good news:
:line: :line: :line:

I'M A GRANDMA!!!!!!!

I became a Grandma for the very first time exactly 3 weeks ago today to a darling baby girl! She weighed in at 8 lbs 14 oz and was 22 in. long. Her parents have named her Lucy Marie. Hopefully, we'll be headed to Philadelphia soon to spend some time with her.

So, what's been happening with all of you?

SUGARSPRINKLES!

Happy birthday to a lady
We all love and adore!
A Pixie star to from days gone by,
But home now we hope to see her more!

Kind and full of fun,
She's a lady through and through,
A gal we all wish the very best,
And hope her dreams come true.

Now that we've all wished her well,
Even late it's a tradition that is the norm,
The birthday spankings should proceed,
So the spanking line here should start to form.

Happy Brithday and a Big Hug from my Mrs. and I!

WB "sis"...y'know, maybe we should void that adoption so I don't feel so creepy when I want to :molest: you...

Health problems suck. Heart problems in particular suck, but I'm happy that yours is working out. Back problems REALLY suck. Pain meds...now they don't suck  but the reasons one needs them usually suck bigtime :banghead:

Go ahead & get the giant wallet w/lots of room for pics, so you can show everybody the world's Most Perfect Grandbaby...and GRATS!!!

Hm, well, you're not grabbing a stick and strapping on a pair of skates anytime soon. But hey, maybe you can catch a few games when you're up int he Philly Area. Even if it is for a crappy team.
