I've just done a quick detour to New Zealand for an Air Show.
It was WW1 themed with visits from WW2 and ground action.
The pics are a bit muddled, but each stands on it's own merits.

OK did not view them all but it saddens me that the P-51 is grounded great pics of the P-38 Corsair Spits and Camel though .... I was fortunate enough to be on the flight deck of a B-17 originally named The Virginian I forget her current name during a new engine 3 hour flight spec out I.E they were testing the engine after 3 hours of flight time I have a predigital picture taken from behind the flight engineers station (seat) Gene Krantz (Apollo space program fame ) was the regular flight engineer on that plane but he did not make that trip to NJ

Wow, you got some of the unusual stuff: in particular, the Harry Tate. Didn't know anybody bothered to preserve any of those.
Great stuff overall!

The RE-8's just out of restoration, gg. It was Harry's first stroll since the re-build.

The pics are a bit muddled, but each stands on it's own merits.
They've got these picture frames that have their own little built-in stands so you don't have to use merits...
The unmistakable "broken wing" Corsairs remind me of the hours gleefully wasted watching "Baa Baa Black Sheep". I also have a distant memory of building a model kit of the "Tiger Shark" way back when.

Black Sheep Squadron was worth watching.

Fantastic pictures, OF! Loved the picture of the P-40 Warhawk. Always liked the looks of that fighter. :)
