Good wishes to all our downunder, roo-poo eating (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WS2Gzp8XgFQ&feature=related) Pixies. :line:

Is it true you celebrate your holiday by putting Vegemite (http://www.stickam.com/viewMedia.do?mId=177743351) in your mouth rather than using fireworks?

I fail to understand. Isn't Foundation Day specific to Western Australia, and more to the point, celebrated in June?

And here I was wondering if Max Factor was an Australian.

Seriously, happy Foundation Day either now or in June ... Pixies are always up for a party. :D

...The following timeline gives a chronological history of how Australians have acknowledged, celebrated and mourned January 26 since 1788. It traces the path that leads to all States and Territories celebrating Australia Day as one on January 26 annually (http://www.australiaday.vic.gov.au/PDF/HISTORY_OF_AUSTRALIA_DAY.pdf)....

It's "Happy Australia Day" to us roo-poo consumers, but "Kong Hee Fat Choy" to our Chinese friends.

It's one of the few days we go the whole hog, with flags and all that stuff. The other 364 days we carry our Aussieness on the inside, quiet and dignified.

Now, who's hidden the roo-poo?
