There are two lines ye scallywags one fer de rapin' and one fer de pillagin'. Pick yer line.

As a pirate it would be un-piratey of me not to surprise them and rape and pillage both lines anyway :D

This got me to thinking, and the phrase "Blistering Barnacles" came to mind.

When a sailor's ship is laid up on the beach or mudflat for whatever reason, the sailor's unemployed (and unpaid).

When the sun's on the barnacles, they blister and die.

Arrrrrrrrrrr.
