My state will be voting on this issue and unfortunately the conservatives will win out. It's a pity more people are not going to be afforded equal rights. I'm glad they got to have their day.

Haven't you heard Lilith, homosexuality should be banned (http://www.maniacworld.com/Why-Homosexuality-Should-Be-Banned.html)?

I believe that it takes all kinds to make the world go round. I like to think that over time, more people will agree that is so than do now. A bit idealistic, I will admit, but I like that ideal.

A bit idealistic, I will admit, but I like that ideal.I don't think it's overly idealistic, more a realistic hope  I think if we look back 20 or 30 years and compare views then to views now, enormous changes in attitude have taken place, people are much, much more accepting of each other, at least where I live anyway. Looking on another 20 or 30 years, I have great hopes that those changes will continue for the good, and announcements of same-sex marriages will appear in the 'Just Married' section of the newspapers alongside m/f marriages without anyone batting an eyelid.

Loved those wedding vows  I welled up reading them :o

Yes mam. For example, it takes people of faith to persevere in their beliefs in the face of what others see as clear facts to the contrary. Sometimes time shows that they are right.
