The entire south is a worm hole. As for the global warming and melting polar ice caps. It took a major asteroid to put the planet as it is, after a giant sand cloud that blocked out the sun. Now I may be wrong, but what's to say that the Earth is changing because of us and not just going back to what it was millions of years ago? Did the "we have doctorates and years of theoretical studies" scientists ever think of that one? The only reason the Earth sustains us is because of that one huge cataclysmic event. I'd say that planet has finally decided that we've given it enough plastic and is going to start eradicating us over the next several centuries. Doesn't make a difference to me, I'll be dead and buried and rotted into dirt long before the human race is extinguished by the natural environment. Then again........I could be wrong.
