It was touching, and it got me to thinking about what I'd say if given the opportunity

His lecture/life/example has helped me on numerous times when my teenager and I seem to be at an impass.

He seemed to be someone who was one of those “fun but tough” profs in college.

Heard his story on the radio, & was deeply touched...one wonders how many of us could face knowing what our future was, without feeling cheated or bitter?

I watched the Diane Sawyer interview again tonight. He makes this Eeyore want to be a Tigger.

I just finished reading the book, "The Last Lecture." Just a simple book, filled with a lot of good advice that we've all probably heard before but somehow when someone who has so little time left tells you how important it is to follow that advice, it seems more credible. I hope some day I can inspire my students as much as he has inspired me.
