So is this true in your neck of the woods?

Nope, it's about $8.99 for a 12-pack of Bud Light here so that's about 6.25 cents an ounce......... $7.99/gallon. Gas right now is $3.84/gallon here. Gotta say though that I do like the sentiment of that sign. :p

Milk, on the other hand, is about the same price per gallon as gasoline is here. :(

Today, gas went to $3.89 and milk was $4.09. It depends on the beer but I would say across the board it's cheaper than gas.

we just hit 4.00 a gallon for gas and 3.85 for gallon of milk..WTF

My woods don't have a neck.

But I don't think the sentiment expressed could ever be quite true...when the cost of fuel goes up, it goes up for the beer truck as well.

http://bestsmileys.com/crying/2.gif You're not suggesting the beer trucks stop delivering beer are you?

We had a situation about 12 months ago where petrol was dearer per litre than Coke.

The situation's here to stay.

Anyone know how to run a Rav-4 on cake?

The minimum price allowed by law for beer here right now works out to about 2,68$/litre.

The lowest price for gas in Montréal right now is 1,254$/litre.

I pay 1,28$/litre for skim milk.

Not at all...merely suggesting that the cost of X, when X = anything delivered by truck, is always going to stay a step ahead of the cost of fuel...it's a vicious circle thing...

In Nova Scotia...

The cheapest beer is about 4,64$/litre.

The cheapest gas is 1,353$/litre.

(I don't know about milk.)
