Just a one-hit wonder, but damn, what a one hit to hang a career on...he always struck me as belonging more to the southern/country/rock crowd, e.g. Allmans, Skynyrd, .38 Special, but he had the touch for that one super pop song...

"Loved". Hey, you can still enjoy the song, even if the original performer has died.
