What do you think. Relationships like this really exist? Urban myth? Ever actually know anyone who lived this way?

they certainly exist. there are christian domestic discipline homes, based on some teachings of the bible. they’re described as relationships where the husband loves the wife enough to teach and guide her, and the wife loves the husband enough to follow his leadership. spanking is used as negative reinforcement punishment. and there are secular “heads of households”, where one spouse takes on the leadership role and employs the same technique.

these are not partnerships, which is what a marriage - or any other form of long-term commitment - means to me. they are a form of submission outside the bedroom, a tacit agreement that one partner is never mentally fit or intrinsically trustworthy enough to make sound decisions for themselves or any other member of the home, nor are they fit to make household decisions. that physical punishment (as opposed to mutual discussion) is the only path.

you would never find me in this sort of relationship - spanking or no spanking, or just downright autocracy. i have just as much of a say about what goes on in this home as does my husband. if we can’t agree, we try to compromise.

in our house i do as im told lol,seriously the bible was written when man was the dominant partner but in reality of the 21st century there is equality amongst sexes,she does as she wants and i do as im told lol but in truth cpls today are more likely to discuss and debate rather than the male being the deciding factor,ive been with my wife since we were both 16yrs old and we are both heading for 44yrs old(u do the maths lol)theres no dominance from either side cause neither of us belive in the "bible",as i have always said "who wrote the bible..........man?????????????" only thing the bible is good for is a read when you dont have wireless internet in your hotel room assuming noone has nicked it lol

The sites listed here are a bit different from what I have done and do in my own life.
I have been in similar relationships in the past, as some of you already know, and am in the first weeks of a new one. My relationship is one of control and obedience, but in a sexual life only.

Hmmm...

I have explained this better before, but right now I am still recovering from last night... (oh my!) I will post more about my new relationship, or at least the new turn this relationship has taken.
