Hey everyone,

I'm sure you've seen this in articles online but there is a new form of advertising, called In-text advertising.

The particular word is highlighted in different color than the rest of the text in the article, when you scroll your mouse over it, an ad pops up.

Does anyone know how to turn this feature off?

All I know is that it annoys the heck out of me, and I really want to make it stop.

If anyone has any ideas on how to turn it off please let me know.

Thanks.

Turn off your pop-ups.

it's not a pop-up ad "per se".

The highlighted word has a small ad that opens up when you scroll over it. I have pop-up's turned off on my settings and it still happens.

Hi, I have been playing around with web design for a few years and know what you are talking about. It is just like the Pop ups and the piggyback ads, they are crappy for everyone but some wise guys have found a new way to make a few bucks. Most of the time it's at the advertiser's expence or the Webmaster's.
I don't know of a way to stop the mouse over Ads except to keep your mouse off of it. When I see pop ups or this on a site I send a real nasty email to the webmaster about his site then I tello others not to go there,.
Good luck.
