"There is unrest in the forest,
there is trouble with the trees,
for the maples want more sunlight,
and the oaks ignore their pleas."

I think I know in which direction I'd fell the trees if I was the one who had to cut them down.

Did I say that right?

This looks like a project for Red Green!

It would take one day to reposition the panels. It takes how many years to grow the tree? You figure it out.:rolleyes2

Mark up another one for Lawyer logic.

Yeah, I heard about this about a week ago.

Hey, you don't get to destroy specimens of an endangered species and call yourself an environmentalist.

Does that mean that if I build in the shadow of a tower block, they'll chop out the left wing to give me some sun?

The wanker with the panels had an option to resite them, but refused apparently.

The law can be such a bully.

The guy will probably cut down the trees and then find there's another law he violated for felling a redwood and ill get stuck with a big fine. I suspect the sunshine law was really meant to prevent new high-rise buildings from "stealing" a neighbor's opportunity for sunshine. You watch, the guy will get the redwoods cut down and will get fined for that because of some obscure law against cutting down redwoods. :rolleyes2

NO! Those are law offices.

sad day for sanity.

anyone ever see the southpark about "smug" ... it's like smog, only worse and it comes from people who drive hybrids and think they're better than everyone and also from george clooney's '06 academy award speech. :roflmao:

Once again, it seems "common sense" is not so common after all...

No, it's just another example of how far the law has drifted away from justice.

...and pluck till time and times are done, the silver apples of the moon, the golden apples of the sun...

^^^that makes as much sense as the lawsuit!
