:roflmao:

Twenty one seconds for the first goal in a game the seldom exceeds single digit scores, by a 20 year old kid from NOVA SCOIA no less. :faint:

They :hockey: are never going to make the American market place with that kind of action. We have to have 4 hours just to watch a 2 hour game of any kind. How do they expect to catch peoples interest when the players don't stop after EVERY 20 seconds of action for the whole game. You would actually have to pay attention to something like that. There isn't enough time for the eternal drown of two or three historians, statisticians and biographers of the second cousins of each player between pitches or plays. Those silly people just go out there and keep playing. :hair:

The dumbest part is they have no players with multimillion $$$ contracts and it doesn't cost $100+ to attend a game. How can you expect anything but riff-raff of the common Joe to be there? These idiots treat this game like a sport instead of a corporate production.

Nup! Outdoor NHL will never make it here.

Actually, PF, Crosby only assisted with that goal - it was actually Armstrong (25, from Saskatchewan) who scored.

Long lost cousins...

Having been deported to the British (Protestant) colonies, the thought of a colony where the people at least practiced the same religion as back home was very alluring for some.

Do you realize the Sabres only have 5 Americans on their team? (Versus 8 with the Penguins)

I was flipping the channels back and forth between college football games and the hockey game............. gotta say, that was a really cool thing to see. :thumb:

I'd never actually seen Crosby play before, damn that kid can handle the puck!

All I caught were the highlights on ESPN, but it did appear to be an interesting step back in time...

The most amazing part for me was that the elements kept "ruining" the ice surface, to the point where one player, not wanting to take a chance on the puck being deflected by a bad spot, juggled the puck on his stick for several feet before making his shot...
