It seems in most families that during the holidays everyone has a task/job/thing that they are the "expert" in. And by "expert" I mean the person relegated to do that task :D For instance, no one on this Earth (or at least in my house) can string lights like Mr. Lil :D:D:D Likewise, apparently at this time of year I magically sprout the ability to bake when everyone knows all 51 other weeks I can not.
What are you an "expert" in?

Getting the star on top of the tree, & making sausage balls.

Making the Slush. Hic!
I'm an expert in coating the house in a nice layer of glitter so everything can sparkle merrily. :)

I'm not really sure how it got started but whenever I am with family for Thanksgiving or Christmas, it always ends up being my job to make the potatoes for the meal. I'll always make the mashed potatoes and a sweet potato dish and if there's a lot of people I'll usually throw together some scalloped potatoes and ham too.

Wrapping the gifts.
I am the only one that enjoys it. To me it is calming and I like the challenge of getting the corners perfect and the folds at the end to match. Cobalt is eternally thankful that I like to wrap. :D

Star on top of the trip and gift wrapping. Not sure why the latter, except, I get the job done. Other's make the wrapping look prettier, but take so much time only to have their work ripped to pieces in the first five minutes of Christmas morning. :)
