It's a dark brown with spicy chilli bits in it and I'll be damned if I can find a recipe how to make it. I love the stuff and need to find a recipe. Anyone have one or know where to find one?

I think it is this

2 lg. garlic cloves, minced
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. honey
2 tbsp. vegetable oil, divided
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes (or to taste)

cooked til it thickens

Why do you divide the vegetable oil?

Yes.. just made it tonight.

It's not quite right but was still very good.

I made the sauce with A LOT of chilli pepper flakes but it was still not spicy enough. I stir fried veggies and had steamed rice. I also made skewered grilled shrimp with pineapples to go with.

Cool. I have a whole lot of chicken in my fridge so I'll have to try it.

I'd try to incorporate a little rice wine vinegar into the mix. It's used in my recipe for General Tso's chicken, and has a good kick to it. I think it's used in a good number of Chinese recipes.
