There is always the fantasy of pretending you are with someone else.
Meditation, throwing yourself into your job, etc. But those are only temporary fixes.

I just try to 'be' the other person. I'm leopard-like trying to figure out what would make him purrrrrrrrrrr. I discover lots about him and me that way.

Well, Mr Hand and I do get on well especially in the shower. That helps some.
