This is the picture I'm currently using.

It's a mural at the Kansas State Capitol building. It's of John Brown the super crazy abolitionist. Kansas is the only state in the union that had a war to decide how they would enter the union (free or slave state). That's what this picture depicts.

So for now, you just get the original pic (or more to the truth, an edited version), again from the Smokies, this is the Little Pigeon river. I got burned out on the hazy gray pic mrs zoid chose before.

I can't believe how amazingly tidy and un-pervy you guys' desktops are!

Shit, I almost feel ashamed to throw this up, but this is what it is!

As it is now. When I got my iMac this past June, it was so clean and un-lived in, I wanted to clutter it up on purpose that same night. All this mess has grown organically and I know where everything is down to the hidden icon.

About half of it on the outside is porn and erotica shit. The other half is of my artwork and graphic files and then some miscellaneous shit like downloaded music files and fonts/utility software. Most of the porn is for reference and not (wholly) for jerking off purposes. I have tried to compile everything to a respectable grid-row order, but chaos rules my desktop world and it won't let go, so I don't bother. Generally, when I am finished with something for my uses, I file it away where it's supposed to go. Most of the clutter out in the open is actually folders full of filed and categorized crap. I seriously don't know how you guys hold back chaos!

The porny wallpaper changes according to whim. I love having a home computer to myself, just for being as dirty as I please with the stuff I can't do at the office. :heartbeat

I just never found a pervy pic that I could look at every day. I used have a really good one of Sephiroth from FF7, then I did the pic that's my avatar which is a Catacomb Dragon from Magic the Gathering. I had a M.C. Escher pic for a time.

Believe it or not, I've significantly pared it down some. When I snapshotted that, it was during a time when chaos was in full effect.

I would love to have it clean as many here do, but...it'd be nigh-impossible. I love the organic chaos flowing there. It's like it's own form of erotic entropy.

That is my cattamaran, an 18 ft Prindle, my go fast sailing toy. I also own a 20 foot Oday, "the Windward Rail " for leasuire sailing, two sunfish for teaching kids to sail, a dingy and a WIndSurfer. The Windward Rail is still in the water in Holly Park cove at the end of Bay Blvd.

I'm not into sailing but my kids (now adults) are, went to sail camp for years and trained on Thistles. They both sail Dragons which are popular here on the Great Lakes and seems to be have a concentration at the local club. They both crewed on bigger racers for many season before starting their own families. It was people like you teaching them something I didn't have to pass down and that has become important to them.
