SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Sept. 18 (UPI) -- Two women in Scottsdale, Ariz., laid bare their feelings about clothier Burberry's use of fur by protesting in the nude.

The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals protesters want Burberry, based in Britain, to stop using fur on its apparel, and took their message to the Burberry store near Scottdale's shopping district during the noon hour Monday, the Arizona Republic in Phoenix reported.

"I came all the way for this," said Natasha Carew, of Toronto, wearing a pair of petal pasties, panties and platform shoes. She held a protest sign in front of her.

Protesting with her, Rachelle Owen, of Detroit, who waved at drivers as they passed by.

Next stops include Las Vegas, San Diego and Los Angeles, said Mike Brazell, campaign coordinator for Virginia-based PETA, adding that the group plans to protest three to four times a month near different Burberry stores nationwide.
