I don't was to get schmaltzy (sp), but how many others see Pixies as an extended family?

I do, but I'd like to know whether I'm still in touch.

Shit!! I just got 100%.

I feel closer to some people here at Pixies than I do to some of my blood relatives. I think it's the dynamic of the site. I'm sure it's been discussed on a thread or in private, but it's ironic how anonymity actually leads to closer ties. I wonder what it would be like if we were as comfortable opening up in person as we are online.

Sorry...I didn't know what schmaltzy meant so I just agreed. :p

The rejection isn't as immediate and personal online.

Still hurts, but it's easier to rationalise.

I met some really Pixie people at PAGAN06, and look forward to PAGAN 08 with an unholy glee.

You're still at 100%. ;) I think the question is self-selecting.

You get to choose the Pixies you are close to - you don't get to pick your family. :D

Oldfart,

You are, but touch osuche - not me.

Couldn't find a better family anywhere then here at Pixies!

Hmmmmm, now it's not considered really sick and deranged to have impure thoughts about members of your "extended" family, right? :D

One hell of a family photo album though.

I do feel as close, if not closer, to some of the people here than I do some family members. As for the question that WI posed about being as comfortable opening up to others if we met them in person as we are online, I've got to think that would be a case by case kind of thing. I do know there are a couple of Pixies with whom I could share pretty much anything about myself, online or in person.

I dont', because there are too many women on Pixie's I'd like to do a scene with, and incest isn't my kink.

Like OldFart I have met a number of Pixies members in person and we have shared as much off-line as we have on-line.

Remember that time when I almost had sex with my cousin at my grandmother's funeral simply because he ate chicken wings sexy...nuff said :p

Was there any backlash about the scratches & scuff marks on gramma's casket?

No but I had warned her long before that I was gonna fuck up her hair and waste all the beautician/mortician $$.

Another great idea, jseal.

We could just be neighbors then. :spank: :brows:

Pixies is like family and there are so many here that I really love and respect, and some I wish I knew much better.

Yup, family.

The Pixies I've met in real life are the same as on here.

I agree, soda ... Pixies-Place is like another home and the Pixies are like family. My wife and I have been lucky enough to meet some twelve Pixies and/ or Pixie spouses and they are all fantastic people who I do think I can share with as easily in person as online. There's so many more we truly do want to meet because I feel like we're good friends already!
