View Full Version : Cut or Not?

I was talking to a friend of mine the other day (she was obsessing over Daniel Radcliffe) and she happened across a full front-on nude photo of him and started freaking out. She's a bit of a nympho, but sometimes not to bright (she admits this herself :p) and so she keeps asking me what's wrong with his member, and that it's not "normal". She forced me to click the link (which is fairly difficult to do as I, no offense to anyone here, don't consider looking at penises a pleasurable affair) and it was a perfectly normal shot, except he was uncircumcised. This seemed completely bizarre to my friend and turned her off almost completely to this man-boy she admires. So a few questions.

Guys: Are you cut or not?

Women: Do you prefer a guy that's circumcised over those that aren't? Vice-versa? Would one way be less of a turn on than another?

I'm a non-discriminating cock lover. Cut or not, cock is good.

That's the opinion I would expect a lot of women to have, but still her reaction to it made me wonder about what others thought.

I mean... the part I love most on a womans body (after eyes, and smile) are well... several things.. but boobs come to mind first... and there are many different types of boobs, why should I discriminate one over the other? I have a preference, but I don't hate others.

I have never been with an uncircumcised man so I really can't answer this.

I'll just have to take Salacious's word on it.... "Cut or not, cock is good". :D

Cut.

The brains keep changing their minds whether it's a good thing.

I've experienced both, and I am indifferent...as long as the guy focuses on keeping clean. It's a bit harder to make sure everything keeps clean when a guy is uncut.

/me shudders at the thought of how nasty the bits under the foreskin can get when not clean...not fun to encounter when trying to give head! :yikes:

I don't really care what a guy has, but being the proud owner of a baby boy, I can't imagine anything more barbaric than allowing some surgeon to get his hands on him and cut into his little winkle for no good reason.

I appreciate it's a cultural thing, and not commonly practised in the UK (in 9 months, not one single health professional has ever even mentioned the c-word to me) but I find the whole idea abhorent.

Hygiene is important of course, but then so is keeping your toes clean, behind your ears clean etc and we don't cut those off to make it easier.

I don't discriminate--but I do remember the first time I saw an uncircumcised penis. I was amazed at the time...

I agree! Also isn't this like the 4th time this issue has been brought up?

People who don't check to see if a subject's been canvassed and just bump it.

Still, you can't totally supress the spontaneity.

I've been on forums that ban the bumping of threads, and I was fairly spontaneous when posting this. Though I don't have a problem with it being merged with another thread.

Well, first of all it was fucking HUGE!!!! Besides that, it was just the fact that I had never seen one before.

that's exactly why we didn't have the boy circumcised ^^^ if he wants it, he can have the procedure done later but it can't go the other way. and like lou and fussy, we just couldn't bring ourselves to get it done at birth. when we realized the only reason we were even considering it was so that he would "look like" his dad, and the majority of his peers, we realized how crazy that sounded. the neonatal doc at the hospital told us it's becoming less common to circumcise - at least in our area.

our pediatrician is british and he gave us beaucoup kudos. the other docs at the practice and most of the nurses didn't censure exactly but did say something like "oh, he's uncircumcised" (cause i'm very quick to point it out at check-ups lest some gung-ho med tries to pull the foreskin back prematurely).

i admit i do worry that we made the right decision for him, i wouldn't want him to have to feel embarrassed about his penis, but we wouldn't do it any differently if given the chance.

I'm cut and like it. I do admit that I'm a bit curious as to how different it would feel to be uncircumcised though.

Cut at birth, & as the joke goes, I couldn't walk for a year

When I was young, it took a while to understand what this "foreskin" thing I kept hearing about was, & why I didn't seem to have one...

I like both but the head of an uncut cock has been slightly more pleasurable upon entry.

I am cut and glad to be so...it feels good and plus it adds a closeness to your partner as most men are cut, so it adds a togetherness and appreciation. And you never need much lubrication if you're pitching alone!

Could you elaborate, imajica? I don't understand how being cut adds 'closeness'. And I always thought being cut meant you needed more lube than uncut.

Most men are not necessarily cut. Certainly in Britain it is not the norm.

I think it's interesting that most men feel that the way their's is, is the best. Not many men here who say 'I haven't been, but would like to be' or vice-versa. I suppose it's hard to imagine it any other way, since it's usually done (or not done) in infancy.

I'm not cut and its never posed a problem, and no girl has ever really said anything about it.

I agree that not many men here have said that, and I'm not really sure why that is - maybe it's just the low number of posters we have here? But there certainly is a large number of men (No idea what consitutes a 'large' number though) undergoing foreskin restoration (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreskin_restoration), and also a lot of adults undergoing circumcision.
On this topic, I'd say Pixies is just a small sample size.

When I say there is a closeness, I mean a familiarity. The way you act sexually the first time with a person is not the same way a year after first being intimate. Of course there is the trepidation of what a person will think at first, but in the long run acceptance is the value. The appreciation for each other for the way you are. I love it. It is what it is all about.
