And check the expiration dates on your peanut butter?
My mother gave us two jars that were in her cabinet that she said "your father will never use."
One was dated 1995. :yikes:

Hey 1995 was BEFORE the COnAgra scare. Beware Peter Pan between 2004-2007. :p

And here I thought my mom was bad back in June for still having a bottle of mustard in her fridge that I bought when I was out there in the summer of '03.

I had that peanut butter. Could not figure out why I was so sick. Finally dawned on me to check it. Sure enough I had the tainted lot #.

Good advice, WI. Guess I hadn't thought much about peanut butter having an expiration date. Better check ours.
Thanks.

See?
Now if it was Vegemite, you wouldn't have to worry about that.
No-one can tell if it's still edible, so it must be.

Hey PB never lasts but a few weeks here. However even if the seal was never broken 95 seems pretty old to me

Checking expiration dates on PB has never been an issue in the Zoid house...
or cheese, for that matter...or bread...or baloney...
